Fort Hood, TX

To provide or perform religious support for all authorized personnel of Fort Hood, TX during peacetime and across the full spectrum of war in order to support the command in the facilitation of the free exercise of religion. To advise the command in matters of religion, morals, morale, and ethical issues in order to support the unit mission.

Jewish

The Jewish Congregation meets at West Fort Hood Chapel at 7:00 pm (1900) Friday and the first Saturday of the month at 1000.


Islamic Services

Services are held Fridays at 1300 at the Ironhorse (76th Street) Chapel. A dedicated prayer room is available during normal business hours for daily prayers. The chapel can be contacted at 288-7607 for more information.

Islamic services are also available in the local community at the Islamic Center of Killeen (254-634-8799), 5600 Hwy. 195 in Killeen

Fort Hood Open Circle (Wicca)

The Fort Hood Open Circle meets at Camp Finlayson on West Fort Hood at 1930 on Tuesday evenings. For more information on classes email the group priestess or priest. You can also check them out on the web at http://www.seacove.net/fhoc

The times and/or dates are subject to change depending on weather, deployments, and any other unforeseen events. Only those participating in the evening's ritual are invited to camp overnight

Rituals are scheduled to start at 7 PM, 7:30 PM or 8 PM CST. unless otherwise noted above (different times are due to sunlight hours) Members of FHOC arrive at the site at least 1 hour before the ritual.
