The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center is the main hospital at Fort Hood. The medical center is the largest medical center in the Army. The hospital offers inpatient service and surgery as well as emergency room services. The family care clinic and the troop medical clinics offer service to more than 40,000 active duty personnel and more than 140,000 family members. Family care is provided for those enrolled in TRICARE Prime.
